JO BYRON

BSc (Hons) Psychology and Speech Pathology | Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) | Member of Speech Pathology Australia (MSPA) | Certified Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) Therapist | Project ImPACT Coach | Circle of Security Parent and Classroom Facilitator.

Jo is a highly experienced neuro-affirming speech pathologist with over two decades of expertise supporting children’s communication skills, in particular autistic children, adults, and their families. Currently based in the Kiama region her career has taken her across the UK, Europe, USA, and Australia, where she has worked in multidisciplinary clinics, schools, diagnostic centres, and Defence Force schools in Europe.

KATIE PASKAL

Katie is currently on maternity leave.

Meet Katie, a devoted and highly skilled neuroaffirming speech pathologist who will be based at our Kiama clinic. Born and raised in Kiama, Katie’s journey in speech pathology began when she earned her degree from the University of Sydney in 2010. Following her graduation, she ventured to Perth, where she dedicated over 10 years to the Child & Adolescent Health Service in Western Australia, honing her expertise in various clinical and research roles.

JACKLYN DOUBELL

Office Manager

Jac has been working in the role of Office Manager since Starfish Speech Pathology’s relocation to Kiama Downs in 2019. Jac has a Master’s Degree in Digital Media, BA in Visual Communication as well as various other qualifications in marketing, advertising and fine arts.

ZACH BYRON

Allied Health Assistant

A current nursing student at Wollongong University, qualified surf coach and professional lifeguard, Zach brings an unrivalled and captivating energy to the team. Zach has been working as an allied health assistant and administration support for over 12 months.
